    60.94 percent surge in Turkish crude oil imports

    (MENAFN) Turkey imported 2.37 million tonnes of crude oil during the fourth month of this year, marking s significant 60.94 percent jump.

    According to the Energy Marketing Regulatory Authority (EMRA), Turkey's imports from Russia alone stood at 990,478 tonnes of crude oil in April.

    EMRA further added that Turkey imported 677,274 tonnes from Iraq and 437,129 tonnes from Iran, the highest after Russia.

    On annual basis, total oil imports of Turkey reached 3.58 million tonnes to reflect a surge by 15.35 percent.
