Electronic Jordan-Qatar platform on recruitment planned
(MENAFN) Jordan engaged in discussions with Qatar on means to create an electronic platform aimed at employing citizens from the Kingdom in the GCC nation.
Talks were held among a technical joint committee that consists of the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs, the Jordanian Ministry of Labour, and Qatar Chamber (QC).
It comes as a target was set for job opportunities to be presented in Qatar for 10,000 Jordanians.
During the meeting, QC revealed, talks were held on significant matters related to fast tracking the recruitment of Jordanians under the plan.
Director General of QC Saleh bin Hamad Al Sharqi also highlighted the strong ties between Jordan and Qatar which helps push the initiative.
