Flyadeal cancels 50 Boeing's grounded MAX order

(MENAFN) Flyadeal, a budget carrier in Saudi Arabia, was announced to have cancelled an order for fifty grounded Boeing 737 MAX jets, pulling out of the initial deal for the order.

In a statement, the Saudi carrier confirmed its decision to merely use Airbus planes in its future operations.

According to a spokesman for Boeing, "we understand that Flyadeal will not finalize its commitment to the 737 MAX at this time given the airline's schedule requirements."

Flyadeal is currently conducting its domestic operations with an eleven Airbus A320 aircraft fleet.
