    Iran hits USD11.5b in non-oil exports

    (MENAFN) Iran witnessed stability in the value of its non-oil exports for the first quarter of the Iranian calendar year, standing at USD11.5 billion.

    Head of Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) Mohammadreza Modoudi revealed that Iranian non-oil imports hit USD10.2 billion during the period, marking an 8.7 percent decline.

    The Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) confirmed previously that the Iranian non-oil exports reached USD44.3 billion in the past year, with USD42.6 billion of products shopped into the country.

    Modoudi further added that Iran has set out a plan to commence fifteen massive export projects aimed at detecting an increased number of target markets.
