Jordan secures 6 investment agreements
(MENAFN) Petra news agency revealed in a report issued on Sunday Jordan to have sealed six deals that are aimed at developing the Jordanian industrial sphere.
Looking to spur industrial investments in the town of Salt and the city of Madaba, the Jordan Industrial Estates Company decided to ink the agreements.
Jordanian Minister of Industry and Trade Tariq Hammouri unveiled USD10 million as the value of the six investment contracts.
It comes following 40-70 percent cuts that the government imposed on rent cost for new investment in Jordanian free zones as part of efforts to attract more investments.
