    10 percent jump in Qatar-Singapore trade

    (MENAFN) Qatar registered a 10 percent surge in the volume of its bilateral trade with Singapore, standing at USD7.2 billion in 2018 compared to figures recorded in 2017.

    Thanks to those results, Qatar has been ranked as the third biggest trading partner for Singapore within GCC nations.

    Figures were revealed by a top Singapore Business Council Qatar (SBCQ) official during a business and professional networking event which attracted professionals and dignitaries from various spheres.

    "The bilateral trade volume between Qatar and Singapore has grown 10 percent year-on-year to hit $7.2bn in 2018 and Qatar is Singapore's third largest trading partner within the GCC countries," stated Joseph Abraham, President and Commercial Bank Group CEO of SBCQ.
