Turkey to bolster trade ties with UK
(MENAFN) Head of the Turkish Presidency's Investment Office, Ermut, assured that trade cooperation between Turkey and the United Kingdom (UK) will be reinforced post-Brexit.
"Turkey is evaluating all the possible consequences and acting under a scenario where economic and trade relations grow stronger," the official affirmed.
Ermut further highlighted the significance of bilateral relations and collaboration among the two countries, especially when it comes to economy.
Around 3,000 UK businesses are now operating in Tureky, as noted chairman of the Foreign Economic Relations Board's (DEIK) Turkey-UK Business Council, Remzi Gur.
Gur added "Turkey is ready to take all sorts of political and economic steps on this issue."
