Sudan eyes oil, gas investors
(MENAFN) Sudan's Energy and Mining Minister Adel Ali Ibrahim confirmed that the government is looking to attract more investors in its oil and gas industry.
In a statement, the Sudanese minister assured "we welcome those who are willing to invest in Sudan in field of oil exploration and production."
Minister Ibrahim emphasized that "the time for business and investment in Sudan has become more suitable than ever before."
Ibrahim further pledged to get the climate ready for investments as well as eliminating any obstacle standing in the way of investors.
It comes as Sudan set a target to generate around 120,000 barrels of oil per day, following losses of two thirds of the country's oil output.
