    Oil deal, economic deals to be expanded between Sudan, South Sudan

    (MENAFN) According to official SUNA news agency, on Monday, Sudan and South Sudan signed a deal to lengthen an oil agreement and connected economic deals until March 2022.


    Signed in Khartoum, the deal requires that South Sudan pays USD26 per oil barrel passing through the Sudanese pipeline operator, Petrolines for Crude Oil Ltd. which belongs to the Greater Nile Petroleum Operating Company, and USD24.1 per oil barrel carried through Bashayer Pipeline Company which belongs to Petrodar Operating Company.


    The deal included that; 28,000 barrels of crude oil should be supplied by South Sudan to Khartoum Refinery and Um-Dabakir Station every day.


    The deal was signed by Sudanese Minister of Energy and Mining Adil Ali Ibrahim and South Sudan's Oil Minister Awou Daniel Chuang.
