(MENAFN) Sudan, as SUNA news agency reported, achieved in Khartoum an extension contract with South Sudan regarding an oil agreement as well as related economic preparations to last until March 2022.

Under the contract, South Sudan will be delivering a payment worth USD26 per oil barrel going through Sudan's pipeline operator Petrolines for Crude Oil Ltd. alongside another USD24.1 per oil barrel moved via Bashayer Pipeline Company.

South Sudan, under the contract, will further be delivering 28,000 barrels of crude oil per day to Khartoum Refinery and Um-Dabakir Station. Sudanese Minister of Energy and Mining Adil Ali Ibrahim penned the deal with South Sudan's Oil Minister Awou Daniel Chuang.
