QPSC's investments achieved remarkable growth in Jordan
(MENAFN) Qatar-based energy company Nebras Power QPSC's investments in Jordan are promising and doing well, according to Khalid Jolo the CEO of the company.
As said in a statement by Jolo, in the past 5 years, QPSC's portfolio in Jordan has achieved an amazing expansion, which is long-term investments, and the company's first investments in Jordan were through the Shams Maan solar power station, and it has invested in 4 other projects in Jordan, in which the company's share represents 17 percent of the entire energy market in Jordan.
Jolo said that "Jordan is one of the few Arab markets in which the company invests in addition to the Sultanate of Oman and Tunisia," adding that "Kuwait and Morocco markets are among the future markets that the company plans to enter".
The volume of Nebras Power's investment portfolio has doubled through the past 5 years to USD2 billion, in comparison with USD1 billion as capital upon incorporation.
