    Iran: TEDPIX ends 3,111 points higher

    (MENAFN) According to a report by IRNA, on Saturday, TEDPIX ended 3,111 points higher at 481,867 the first day of the Iranian calendar week.


    In the past Iranian week, the index increased 19,675 points to 478,754.


    In the past week, banks and carmakers, chemical and pharmaceutical companies, base metal and foodstuff industries, as well as computer, cement, water, electricity and gas companies contributed to the most part of expansion at TSE which was the last week of Iran's 11th calendar month of Bahman.


    In the Iranian calendar week ended on January 17, TSE saw the highest ever weekly increase of its key index which was the last week of Iran's 10th calendar month of Dey, as said in the report.
