    Iran's iron ore output to reach 101 million tons

    (MENAFN) According to a report by IRNA, by the end of the recent Iranian calendar year, Iran's iron ore output is going to stand at 101 million tons, registering an increase of more than 17-percent in comparison with the year before.


    In the first 9 months of the recent Iranian calendar year Iranian mines made 49.69 million tons of the mentioned mineral, as data released by the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) showed.


    Iran's iron ore output reached 86 million tons in the last Iranian calendar year 1397 while the figure was reported to be 85 million tons in its previous year of 1396.


    Based on Iran's Sixth Five-year National Development Plan, the country's iron ore output is going to stand at 105 million tons in the next calendar year.
