    Value of Iran's non-oil trade reaches USD85 billion

    (MENAFN) According to the head of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the worth of Iran's non-oil trade reach USD85 billion in the past Iranian calendar year of 1398.


    As said in a report by IRNA, Mehdi Mir-Ashrafi put the weight of Iran's yearly non-oil trade at 170 million tons and said this total of trade was achieved regardless of the severe sanctions.


    Mehdi Mir-Ashrafi also highlighted the actions taken by IRICA in the past year including easing of trade and removing customs barriers in line with supporting the government's plans in different sectors.


    Mir-Ashrafi said, as one of the main organizations helping economic expansion, IRICA made smart customs project in the earlier year as a move to provide today's needs in trade sector.
