Al Ahmadani demands solution to unlicensed 'home hairdressers'
(MENAFN)
Qatar Chamber board member and chair of Woman Committee Ibtihaj Al Ahmadani held a webinar with many owners of beauty salons. The meeting was held upon a request from some businesswomen and financiers in beauty salons to review losses experienced by this field due to practices of "home hairdressers" who do the profession at home without a license, unpleasantly affecting the licensed salon sector.
The webinar saw the participation of many businesswomen including Dr. Sheikha Al Kubaisi, Hessa Hamed, Turfa Al Malki, and Nora Al Kharji. Addressing the meeting, Al Ahmadani said that the Chamber's Woman Committee is interested in discussing all difficulties fronting businesswomen to find proper solutions with concerned parties.
She remarked that the problem of unlicensed hairdressers is one of the obstacles that face commercial sectors across the world, confirming that it must be addressed to find effective solutions.
