Turkey shatters ground on huge glue factory
(MENAFN) On Wednesday July 22 planning to slash its reliance on imports, Turkey insolvent ground on the biggest glue and adhesive factory in the Middle East and Eastern Europe region.
Mustafa Varank Industry and Technology Minister speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Beta Kimya plant in Kocaeli, northwestern Turkey stated that "The facility, representing an investment worth 315 million Turkish liras (46 million USD), will create new employment opportunities for 500 people.".
Varank underscored that the plant will cover the way for Turkey to nationally manufacture polyurethane reactive hotmelt adhesives and a variety of derivatives for the first time, merchandise at all times imported up to nowadays.
