    Turkey works on foreign logistics centers

    (MENAFN) Turkey's top trade representative has stated that the country is working on instituting foreign logistics hubs in tactical territories, like in Africa, America Europe, Russia and the Far East.

    Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan expressed in a written announcement: "We are aiming to deliver Turkish products to global markets in the fastest and most cost-effective way."

    She also said that one of the ministry's top priorities is to make the needed infrastructure facilities that will work on augmenting the export transactions in key markets.

    Pekcan highlighted that logistics was a big part of tactical pricing and customer contentment in e-commerce, then she emphasized that centers like these would help with Turkey's international schemes in this division as well.

    She mentioned that the logistics centers under the umbrella of the ministry will be getting aid for a period of five years.

    Adding that the government will help these centers with expenses like permit and license costs, customs wavers, inventory management, promotion and marketing tactics.
