    Turkey's Central Bank declares loss

    (MENAFN) The Turkish Central Bank declared, on Tuesday, October 27th, that their assets reached a total of USD79.7 billion by the end of September.

    The bank also posted their international reserves and foreign currency liquidity report that portrays that the mentioned figure represents a 4.9 percent decrease from the previous month.

    Foreign currency reserves have also decreased by 6.3 percent in comparison to last month at USD36.6 billion.

    In September, the bank's gold funds, counting gold deposits and, if appropriate, gold swapped decreased 3.7 percent to USD42.8 billion.

    The report also demonstrated that short-term prearranged net drains of the government and the central bank, as well as foreign currency loans, securities, and foreign exchange deposit liabilities, amplified by 0.3 percent to USD25.7 billion.
