    Turkey fulfills 100 PPP projects worth USD100bn

    (MENAFN) A major Turkish businessman stated on Monday, November 2nd, that the country has fulfilled almost 100 public-private partnership (PPP) projects that are estimated at USD100 billion over the course of 15 years.

    Nail Olpak, chairman of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK) highlighted that Turkey's PPP dealings were important on an international level, he also mentioned that several PPP models are employed in divisions like health, energy and transportation, during the fifth Istanbul PPP online meeting.

    "Turkey's transportation infrastructure is going through a tremendous transformation process," Olpak commented.

    Adding that:"In the health sector, Turkey has also undertaken significant reforms in recent years by building integrated healthcare campuses [or city hospitals] in major cities through the build-rent-transfer model of PPP."
