Time out market to open in Dubai by 2021

(MENAFN) Time Out Market's next and seventh destination will be Dubai, where the opening ceremony is set to be by the beginning of 2021.

The project will be taking up 30,000 square feet space on the first floor of Souk Al Bahar, the previous home to Rivington Grill resturant, it will have 17 kitchens, 3 bars, a cultural area that is equipped with a stage. It can house up to 660 people but will primarily open for only 400 to comply with Coronavirus social distancing laws.

Didier Souillat, CEO of Time Out Market, stated: "It's an upmarket food hall where people eat together. It can be families, it can be friends, but you eat between the choice of 17 different kitchens. You can experiment with the best food in Dubai in one go. For tourists, there's no way they're going to try 17 of those restaurants during their stay."

As for who are the 17 restaurants that will be part of the project, they will be announced within the next week, but it was noted that the picking process was very exclusive and is based on talks between Time Out Market and the editorial team at Time Out Dubai. Souillat mentioned that all restaurants were 'home grown' brands and already have sites somewhere in the city.
