    Iran to enhance capacity of power generation by 2021's end

    (MENAFN) By the end of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2021), 30 megawatts (MW) will be provided to the nation's wind electricity generation capacity, according to a statement issued by Mohammad Satakin, who heads Iran"s Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Organization (SATBA).

    State-run IRNA news agency quoted Satakin as saying that over the previous Iranian calendar month (ended October 21), the output of the state's wind power plants hit 302.82 MW.

    The capacity referred to will be generated by the Zabol Power Plant in the province of Southeastern Sistan-Balouchestan, he added.

    Furthermore, the wind farm in question has a total size of 50 MW, among which 30 MW will be launched by the end of the year.
