    Turkey posts increase in investment demand over 2020's first 3 Qs

    (MENAFN) The Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology said Thursday in a statement that the national demand of investment posted a 13-percent rise during the first three quarters of the current year, compared to the same period last year.

    The minister, Mustafa Varank, said on Twitter that the manufacturing sector accounted for the lion"s share of the demand with 73 percent.

    According to him, "Confidence in Turkey's present and future is increasing."

    Of the total investments, 13 per cent are in the energy sector, followed by 10 per cent in the service industry and 2 per cent in agriculture and mining.
