    Bin Salman praises G20's hard efforts amid COVID-19 pandemic

    (MENAFN) Saudi Arabia's king said Saturday in statement that the G20 did verify its power and competence through principal efforts to halt the rising impacts of the novel coronavirus spread.

    The group's duty was, and will continue to be, insurance to a better, vigorous, and flourishing future for all, King Salman bin Abdulaziz said in Twitter ahead the kicking off of the G20 summit in Riyadh.

    Since March, G20's member nations have offered billions of dollars into the global economy to contain the epidemic's impacts, and pumped billions more to support health systems and vaccine research.

    The US, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Indonesia, France, South Africa, South Korea, India, the UK, Italy, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the European Union are all bmembers in the G20.
