    Iran: Cost of plants export increases 5 percent

    (MENAFN) Mahmoud Bazari, the director-general of TPO"s office of agricultural crops and processing industries, also stated that the export of the stated goods has augmented 47 percent in terms of weight in the stated time span.

    The official called Pakistan, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Spain as the main export purposes of Iran"s herbs and plants.

    As formerly declared by the leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Iran is the 17th largest manufacturer of flowers and plants in the world and the 107th largest exporter of such goods.

    According to Ruhollah Latifi, three billion flowers and plants are generated yearly, of which only 200 million are exported.
