    Worth of Iran's exports to its Arab trade partners reaches USDE 8.565b

    (MENAFN)Farzad Piltan, the director-general of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization (TPO)"s Office of Arabian and African Countries, stated that, the worth of Iran"s exports to its Arab trade partners in the region amounted at USD8.565 billion during the first eight months of this year in the Iranian calendar year.

    The worth of Iran"s total non-oil trade in the first five months of the current came on at USD21.5 billion, as Piltan declared.

    The stated trade partners include Iraq, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Syria, and Bahrain.

    Iraq was ranked the second export destination between Iran"s top trade partners, with about USD5.3 billion value of commodities exported to the country, followed by UAE, Oman, Kuwait, and Qatar.

    The official added that, other Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Yemen (from the Persian Gulf region) and Syria, Jordan, and Lebanon (from West Asia) were not mentioned in the list of the top 20 Iranian export destinations in the period under review.
