    Turkey's daily electricity use drop off by 0.28 percent on Thursday

    (MENAFN)On Friday an official figures of Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) declared that, Turkey's daily electricity consumption dropped off by 0.28 percent on Thursday in comparison with last day to come on at 870,607 megawatt-hours.

    According to data from TEIAS, Hourly power consumption reached at 18:00 local time, scoring 42,114 megawatt-hours. The country's electricity usage fell to its lowest level of 30,189 megawatt-hours at 05:00 local time.

    On Thursday, Electricity production stood at 881,017 megawatt-hours, marking a 0.31 percent drop off compared to the last day.

    Imported coal plants held a 22.41 percent share while wind plants contained 14.48 percent, in the time Turkey's electricity production from natural gas constituted 32.86 percent of total electricity consumption.
