    Value of Iran's non-oil trade reaches USD52B in 2020

    (MENAFN)The head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) declared that, the worth of Iran"s non-oil trade in the first nine months of the present Iranian calendar year (March 20-December 20) came on at USD52 billion.

    According to IRIB, Mehdi Mir-Ashrafi stated that, the total amount of the country"s non-oil trade was 110 million tons in the stated nine months, of which over 85.2 million tons were exported commodities and about 25 million tons were imported commodities.

    The official set the total worth of the imports into the country in the stated period at USD26.8 billion, while the worth of exports was reported to be USD25.1 billion.

    About 17.5 million tons of the imported goods into the country in the period under review were essential commodities, accounting for the lion's share of the imports in terms of weight, declared Mir-Ashrafi.
