Saudi capital to become one of top business cities in world

(MENAFN)Regional headquarters in Riyadh supported the Saudi capital’s ambitions to be one of the top business cities in the world.

Al Arabiya reported that the Royal Commission for Riyadh City put a target to attract up to 500 foreign companies to arrange their regional headquarters in the Saudi capital in the coming 10 years.

Twenty-four international companies inked deals to build their regional offices in Riyadh, part of the government’s wider plan to offer 35,000 new jobs for Saudi nationals and increase the national economy by up to SR70 billion (USD18.67 billion) in the coming 10 years.

The official ceremony came after a declaration by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to double Riyadh’s population and set it as one of the 10 richest cities in the world.
