    Economy of Turkey to increase by 8.1 percent in July-September period

    (MENAFN) According to Anadolu Agency survey published on Friday, the Turkish economy is predicted to increase 8.1 percent on an annual basis in the period from July to September. Moreover, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) is going to reveal its gross domestic product (GDP) numbers as of Monday.

    An assembly of 18 economists estimated normal annual growth of 8.1 percent during the mentioned period, with their forecasts soaring between 5.3 percent and 13.5 percent.

    The economists also projected that Turkey's yearly GDP in 2021 would increase by 10 percent on regular basis, with the highest at 12.5 percent and lowest at 8.4 percent. The nation's GDP jumped by 21.7 percent in the period from April to June of 2021.

    Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, Turkey was one of the few nations that accomplished positive increase, with its economy soaring by 1.8 percent during the previous year.
