    Iran’s exports to Syria skyrockets 90 percent in first 3Q’s

    (MENAFN) According to the chairperson of Iran-Syria Joint Chamber of Commerce announcement, Iran’s worth of export to Syria jumped 90 percent throughout the first three quarters of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21-Decemebr 21, 2021), in comparison to the corresponding time span of the previous year.

    Keyvan Kashefi stated that Iran exported USD160 million of goods to Syria during the mentioned time frame of this year, while the figure amounted at USD84 million in the parallel time period of last year.

    The official stated that most of the exported commodities were associated with engineering industries (divisions and pieces of steam turbines), food as well as pharmaceutical industries.

    Stating that the country has exported USD35 billion of commodities to various nations in the period of nine-months of this year, Kashefi declared that in this time span, Syria was amongst the 21 nations aimed by Iran's exports.
