Qasemi set to meet Russian officials for transportation relations
(MENAFN) According to a report by the portal of the Transport Ministry, Qasemi made the comments upon arrival in Moscow, stating that he will have significant conferences with Russian representatives as well as his counterpart.
Referring to his assembly with the Russian transport minister, Qasemi stated: “In this meeting, we will discuss various topics, including transportation issues, while finalizing previous agreements in the field of rail, sea, road, and air transportation are also on the agenda.”
Rising the figure of trips, activating the two nations' ports, arrangement for the function of the rail corridor from Chabahar Port to Russia, and gesturing of Incheh boroun-Garmsar railway are as well on the minister's agenda throughout this trip.
Mentioning to the north-south railway corridor in Iran, the representative said: “The north-south corridor is connected [with Russia] at two points and Russia can be connected directly to the Persian Gulf via Incheh Boroun railway. We are also connected via Jolfa and Nakhchivan.”
