Turkey’s Borsa Istanbul opened Wednesday’s session higher
(MENAFN) Turkey’s main share index started at 2,389.11 points on Wednesday, rising 0.75 percent, or 17.86 points, from the prior end.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index fell by 1.44 percent to 2,371.25 points at Tuesday's end, with a day-to-day exchange volume of 29.7 billion Turkish liras (USD1.8 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange price increased to 17.1591 at 09.55 AM regional time (0655GMT) from 16.9880 at the prior end.
The euro/Turkish lira rate price surged to 17.5728 from 17.4030, whereas a British pound exchanged for 20.4849 Turkish liras, increasing from 20.2750 at the prior end.
Worldwide main Brent crude was sold at USD105.14 a barrel at 10.05 AM regional time (0705 GMT) for a 2.30 percent jump after the prior session end at USD102.77 per barrel.
American main West Texas Intermediate (WTI) stood at USD101.27 a barrel at the same time for a 1.77 percent increase after the prior session finished at USD99.50 per barrel.
