Turkey’s Borsa Istanbul ends Monday’s session with peak numbers
(MENAFN) Turkey’s main share index closed Monday at 3,062.49 points, surging 1.4 percent from last week's end, reaching an all-time high.
Opening the week at 3,017.68 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index added 42.29 points from the prior end.
The index's worst value throughout the day stood at 3010.69, whereas its day-to-day peak stood at 3,083.34.
The entire market worth of the BIST 100 was about 2.42 trillion Turkish liras (USD134.16 billion) by market end, with a day-to-day exchange capacity of 67.67 billion Turkish liras (USD3.73 billion).
Throughout the day, 77 shares on the index surged, 22 dropped, and one was unaffected in comparison with the prior end.
International main Brent crude exchanged at USD97.46 a barrel at 10.08 AM regional time (0708 GMT) for a 1.01 percent surge from the ending cost of USD96.48 per barrel in the prior exchange session.
American main West Texas Intermediate (WTI) stood at USD91.45 a barrel at the same time for a 1.21 percent increase after the prior session finished at USD90.36 per barrel.
