Experts anticipate energy partnership among Turkey, Israel in agriculture sector

(MENAFN) While many experts estimate energy partnership among Israel and Turkey as key, some say relations can flourish further with collaboration in a host of additional areas including agricultural technology.

After normalization works among Ankara and Tel Aviv since last year, the two latest decided to entirely regain political relations, and reappoint ambassadors after over four years, a move considered as lending new momentum to their long-strained ties.

Accompanied by these developments the Turkey-Israel Mutual Financial Commission is also set to gather in early September, and Israel also declared in July that it had chosen to reopen its economy and trade office in Turkey, which it had finished throughout deteriorating political ties.

Gad Shoshan, chairman of the Israel-Turkey Business Council, informed Anadolu Agency that "I did not like the fact that all kind of diplomatic relations were on hold from both sides during the last 10 years or even more. However, on the economic and business level, we always had very good relations with Türkiye and it only keeps growing year after year."
