Iran’s Exchange with ECO associates rises 13 percent in H1 YoY
(MENAFN) Iran’s exchange with the members of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) surpassed USD8.195 billion in the initial six months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21-September 22) recording a 13 percent surge on a yearly basis, the representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) stated that.
As said by Morteza Emadi, the amount of exchanged goods with the stated nations dropped 30 percent in terms of mass compared to the number for the prior year in the same period.
Throughout the stated time span, Iran exchanged more than 10.671 million tons of goods valued at USD8,195,694,000 with ECO member nations such as Turkey, Turkmenistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, as well as Uzbekistan.
Iran shipped USD4.827 billion value of goods to the stated countries in the opening six months of the present year, whereas the imports reached USD3.368 billion.
