    Aramco CEO believes material transition is needed for Energy transition goal

    (MENAFN) Global energy transition is not going to happen without a having a material transition in line with it, the chief executive of Saudi Arabian Oil Co. asserted as he presented the path for his firm to reach its net-zero aim withing the next 3 decades (2050).

    While giving a speech at the Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association Meeting in Riyadh, Amin Nasser stated that additional durable and sustainable materials need to be utilized to guarantee an environmentally friendly outlook.

    He stated that the firm is reinforcing its concentration on materials alteration, and reducing-edge research and improvement, innovation and investments are needed to reach the goal.

    Nasser also mentioned that creating an advanced materials hub in Saudi Arabia might reinforce and complement present plans and push the boundaries of innovation via worldwide cooperation.

    “A viable materials transition in parallel with a viable energy transition is urgently needed to build a new world made to last,” he continued.
