    Iran’s shipment to Africa surges 36 percent in 8 months YoY

    (MENAFN) The worth of Iran’s shipments to Africa surged by 36 percent in the opening eight months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21-Novemebr 21), in comparison with the same span of time in the last year, the vice leader of Iran and Africa Merchants Club Ruhollah Latifi stated on Saturday.

    As said by Latifi, Iranian exchangers shipped more than 1,844,601 tons of goods valued at USD990.569 million to African nations in the stated eight-month time span, as reported by IRIB.

    The vice leader recorded the overall Iran-Africa eight-month exchange at 1.914 million tons with a worth of USD1.056 billion, of which the stake of Iran’s import stood at 69,031 tons with a worth of USD66 million.

    The exchange among Iran with 38 African nations rose by 10.5 percent in terms of mass as well as 39 percent in terms of value in the stated time span, as said by Latifi.

    The imports from Africa also rose by 77 percent in addition to 98 percent in terms of mass and worth, individually.
