    POGC: South Pars day to day gas output amounts to 700 mcm

    (MENAFN) Average day to day output of natural gas in Iran’s South Pars gas sector has amounted to 700 million cubic meters (mcm) to reach the request for natural gas as the climate gets worse, as said by the managing head of Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC).

    “Simultaneously with the arrival of the new cold wave and the increase in gas consumption in the country, the daily gas extraction from the South Pars joint field has reached 700 million cubic meters,” Mohammad-Hossein Motejali stated.

    Motejali registered the significances of Pars Oil and Gas Company in both industries, development and operation, as well as referring to the significant role of this firm in leading the nation’s gas output and intake balance in the cold months of the year, he stated that “the implementation of the production maintenance plan from the South Pars gas field is one of the most important priorities of this company.”
