Oji: Iran’s oil production amounts to 3m bpd

(MENAFN) Iranian Oil Minister Javad Oji has stated that the nation’s oil output has amounted to three million barrels per day (bpd), as reported by Shana.

While giving a speech to the press on the offshoots of a cabinet gathering in Tehran on Wednesday, Oji stated that Iran’s volume for outputting light crude oil has surged by 200,000 bpd, permitting the nation to grow its overall production to nearly three million bpd.

He also mentioned that the Oil Ministry is chasing ventures to grow the quality of fuel outputted in the nation’s refineries.

Oji stated that one such venture had come online in Isfahan Refinery in central Iran with some 15 million liters a day in Euro 5 diesel fuel output volume.

He also mentioned that two additional fuel output units with Euro 5 standard is going to soon be started in refineries in Abadan in southwest as well as in Tabriz in northwest Iran.

Iran has been surging its oil output and shipments during the last year as the nation has been forcing additional plans to deal with U.S. restrictions.
