    Saudi Arabia, Japan ink 15 investment deals throughout two-sided meeting

    (MENAFN) Saudi Arabia and Japan on Monday inked 15 strategic investment deals spread through numerous sectors throughout the Saudi Japan Investment Forum hosted in Riyadh, as the two nations look to deepen business relations.

    The deals were inked to boost investment in the area of metals, marine, petrochemicals, as well as automotive between others, with nearly 99 Japanese firms investing in the nations as the two nations want an additional growth in their financial ties.

    While giving a speech throughout the meeting Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih stated that the two nations have grew their ties with tremendous devotion as the nation aims for USD3.3 trillion value of funds with Japan within the end of this decade.

    The minister also mentioned that Saudi Arabia is going to benefit from its ties with the east Asian nation to establish over 500,000 electric cars on a yearly basis within the start of the next decade.
