TASI ends Monday’s session unaffected standing at 10,728 points
(MENAFN) Saudi shares on Monday made for another day of lusterless exchange as the main index ended unaffected to close at 10,728.25, replying to muted investor sentiment.
From 10:15 AM up to 12:59 PM Riyadh time, the Tadawul All Share Index soared nearly at 10,700 levels. It later jumped to 10,744.82 before running out of flow and ending with 1.58 points increases during Sunday’s closing.
MSCI Tadawul 30 Index also closed unaffected standing at 1,491.66, whereas the similar market Nomu fell 0.25 percent to end standing at 19,319.35.
“Saudi exchange once again showed flattish performance with minimal gains due to lack of any catalysts,” Junaid Ansari, chief of investment strategy and research at Kuwait-based Kamco Invest, informed Arab News.
The overall exchange turnover of the main index on Monday earned 16 percent to reach SR4.07 billion (USD1.08 billion) from Sunday’s SR3.5 billion, with 125 shares of the recorded 223 decreasing and 78 increasing.
