(MENAFN) Musad Aldaood, the CEO of Riyadh Airports Co., has been elected to the board of the Airports Council International (ACI), Asia-Pacific, marking a significant recognition of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's aviation sector. The ACI is a collective assembly of airport authorities dedicated to enhancing airport operations and standards, while also representing their shared interests with international organizations such as the International Civil Aviation Organization and the International Air Transport Association.
The announcement of Aldaood's appointment came during the 18th meeting of the ACI Asia-Pacific Assembly held in Kobe, Japan. As a board member, Aldaood joins other leaders from airports across mainland Asia, Australasia, the Pacific Ocean islands, and key North American destinations like Vancouver, San Francisco, and Hawaii. This appointment highlights the growing global recognition of the Kingdom's aviation industry.
Expressing his enthusiasm about the new role, Aldaood stated that he looks forward to collaborating with fellow board members, the World Executive Committee, regional advisers, and the management team.
