Turkish Airlines Soars to Rank Among World's Top 10 Strongest Airline Brands
(MENAFN) Turkish Airlines has achieved the remarkable feat of being ranked as the world's eighth-strongest airline brand, according to a survey conducted by a leading independent valuation and strategy consultancy. The Brand Finance survey revealed that Turkish Airlines scored 78.1 points, catapulting it 23 places higher compared to the previous year, securing a spot in the top 10.
Expressing his thoughts on the achievement, Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of Turkish Airlines, emphasized the airline's role as the national flag carrier of Turkey and its distinction as the airline with the most extensive global reach. He expressed his commitment to continuing the brand's success by leveraging its position and responsibility.
The survey identified Japan's All Nippon Airways (ANA) as this year's strongest airline brand, with an impressive score of 85 points. ANA, after a two-year pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, resumed its international flights in 2022. Following ANA, the survey ranked Korean Air and Malaysia's budget airline AirAsia as the second and third strongest airline brands, respectively.
Turkish Airlines, established in 1933 with only five aircraft, has significantly expanded its operations over the years. Presently, the airline boasts a fleet of 416 aircraft, comprising both passenger and cargo planes, enabling it to serve 344 destinations worldwide. This extensive network includes 291 international and 53 domestic destinations, solidifying Turkish Airlines' global presence.
Brand Finance, the organization behind the survey, has been assessing the financial worth of brands for over two decades. Each year, they evaluate the value of 5,000 brands across various industries.
Turkish Airlines' recognition as one of the world's top airline brands reflects its success in delivering quality service, expanding its global reach, and maintaining a strong brand reputation. This achievement underscores the airline's commitment to excellence and positions it among the most esteemed carriers worldwide.
