    Saudi exports hit $246.8b in 2010

    (MENAFN) Saudi Arabia's Central Department of Statistics and Information (CDSI) revealed in its annual report that the Kingdom�s exports during 2010 hit $246.83 billion, registering a 22.2 percent surge, year on year, Gulf News reported. The CDSI report explained that the value of exported products including those re-exported reached $233.77 billion, marking an increase of 22.97 percent compared to 2009. Additionally, the value of imported products and services during the mentioned period reached $154 billion, amounting to a decline of 4.12 percent compared to a year earlier. Furthermore, the value of imported products was $94.29 billion, declining by 1.32 percent, while the value of imported services has been $59.71 billion, 8.22 percent less than 2009, the report showed.
