Luxurious hotel in Libya blooms amid unrest

(MENAFN) Corinthia Hotel Tripoli, a luxurious hotel in Libya, reported blooming in the number of visitors in the past two months, which came as a surprise as the country is undergoing serious political unrest, reported the National. Corinthia, which is partly owned by Dubai World, stated that its visitors shifted from tourists and businessmen to tens of reporters and protocol officials, creating a new market target for the hotel amid the recent turmoil. The hotel added that a range of sixty to ninety rooms were occupied each day, accounting for twenty to thirty percent of the hotel's total number of rooms. It is worth noting that other major hotels in Libya shut down their businesses in the past two months amid the turmoil that took over the country.
