    Qatar's 5-star hotels' revenue up 20%

    (MENAFN) The Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) unveiled data showing that five-star hotels in the country saw a revenue hike by twenty percent in this year's first quarter, reported Arabian Business. QTA said that revenues for this quarter hit USD159 million, up from USD131million that were reported in the first quarter of 2010. Four-star hotels followed a similar trend as revenues went up from USD40 million in the first quarter of 2010 to USD43 million in the same period of the current year. The QTA said cited the boost in performance to hosting of the Asian Football Cup.
