Yemen to receive 3m barrels of oil from UAE

(MENAFN) Yemeni Deputy Information Minister, Abdo Al Janadi, said that as a result of fuel shortages in the country, the UAE would provide Yemen with 3 million barrels of oil, reported Arab News. Al Janadi added that in March, an explosion hit the country's main pipeline stopping the flow of crude to the refinery. He also said that in June, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia supplied Yemen with 3 million barrels of oil, where a number of deliveries were made to the refinery in the southern port city of Aden. It is worth noting that for five months now, Yemen has been struggling with political crisis that included demonstrations against the rule of Ali Abdullah Saleh.
