Saudia plans to reach new destinations

(MENAFN) Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) is contacting with international airports, as it seeks to extend its global network, Arabian Business. Mohammed Binhafeez, senior planning specialist at recently rebranded Saudia, said that Saudia is revising its network and looking to reach new destinations. He added that the opening of the new Jeddah airport in 2014 will make links to new destinations and the existing network more efficient. The airline will analyze RFP (request for proposal) submissions from airports before scheduling meetings with potential new partners at the 18th World Route Development Forum in Abu Dhabi later this year. Saudia, based at Jeddah-King Abdulaziz International Airport, operates domestic and international scheduled flights to over 70 destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe and North America.
