Sales of Nissan's Patrol in GCC up to 3,500 units in Jul-Sep

(MENAFN) Nissan Middle East's Sales and Marketing Director, Samir Cherfan, announced that sales of the company's Patrol models grew in the July-September period in the GCC countries, reported Emirates 24/7. Cherfan said that the Japanese carmaker sold 3,500 units in the 3-month period, whereas sales in August hit 1,500 units. He added that the Patrol market share jumped 33 percent to 20 percent of the large sport utility vehicle segment (SUV-L) in 2012. With its independent body motion 4WD control, around view monitor and fuel efficient 5.6 V8 engine, the Patrol is available for excellent value that starts from less than USD51,715. It is worth noting that the notable growth in demand for the SUV segment in the region is attributed to a buoyant customer sentiment and the refreshing new blend of luxury and technology that Patrol offers to the discerning SUV customers.
