Saudi cement sales increase 4 percent in 2013

(MENAFN) Sales of cement companies in Saudi Arabia have boosted by 4 percent reaching 55.6 million tons in 2013, up from 53.5 million tons in 2012, according to Arab News. Cement sales saw a strong drop of 6 percent in December 2013 compared to the same period in 2012, reaching 4.79 million tons. Only four companies were able to maintain their sales high in December 2013; Madinah Cement Company (MCC), Arabian Cement Company (ACC), Northern Province Cement Company (NPCC) and Safwa Cement Company (SCC).
